What is your warranty for items provided under the Huntsville contract?
Warranty for DCI manufactured product is 10 years. Ancillary provided as part of a package project are covered under respective manufacturers warranty.Can I request custom finishes?
Yes, DCI can custom match stains using customer samples or laminate or based on laminate selections. Note: this can increase cost and lead time if laminates are not part of our standard offering.Should I select solid wood or plywood for casegoods?
They both have advantages. Generally, DCI strongly recommends solid wood for durability, longevity, and low carbon footprint.Can I include removal of existing products as part of my project?
Yes, there are several options including palletizing and transportation to DRMO or disposal of all items can be included as part of DCI’s contract. In our experience, disposal is the most efficient option to avoid potential delays and complications from government regulations.My building is occupied. What is the best way to handle this with the installation?
Generally, it is most efficient if you're able to clear a block, wing, or floor at a time to allow us to install. If that’s not possible, the standard rate for removal and installation in an occupied building is 10 to 20 sets per day depending on building access and other project specific details.Do I need to request left and right beds and desks?
If two captains beds are going into the same room on opposite sides (typical layout), then we recommend left and right Captain’s beds. Desks can be made with a left or right pedestal, but industry standard is right pedestal. We don't see a need to request left or right unless there is a special circumstance.What type of chairs do you offer?
DCI makes standard wood chairs. But ergonomic task chairs are the most common and popular choice.What are my fabric options?
DCI has relationships with all of the major fabric suppliers and can accommodate your requests. However, there can be lead time challenges and the pricing varies significantly–easily approaching $50/square yard depending on the grade and provider. To offer the smoothest project experience, DCI offers a range of standard fabrics that provide updated colors and styles suitable for most projects. Using this standard offering streamlines pricing and lead time issues and contributes to an overall smoother project experience.Do you supply artwork?
